Current Issues and Events

Social Studies class is recommended for mature high school students who want to be up-to-date on issues and news that matters. This course deals with challenging issues we face in our world. Potential images, video, and written pieces around these topics may be somewhat graphic given that the content includes diseases, war, and human rights. Other topics include the environment, economics, literacy, working solutions to current problems, and current events of your choice.
